Holi

This term in R.E. Year 3 have been learning all about different types of celebrations.

They were learning all about the Hindu festival of Holi. Holi is a festival that celebrates spring, love, and new life. For many Hindu's Holi is a time for fun. It is a colourful festival, with dancing, singing and throwing of powder paint and coloured water, which Year 3 were able to see for themselves!  They enjoyed a demonstration of paint throwing by their adults. The children and adults alike really enjoyed this memorable learning experience!
