At Clockhouse Primary School we continue to be committed to providing children with excellent sporting provision. With the added funding, we have made significant and sustained improvement to our PE provision. We continue to aim to further develop and sustain the improvements made to ensure that each child experiences the benefits. At Clockhouse Primary School, we have ensured that this funding has been used to target and develop our current PE provision and to support our pupils participating in competitive events across the borough. In turn, this has led to the school being awarded the Platinum Sports Award.

Within our current Year 6 cohort 60% of children are meeting the national curriculum requirement to swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres, using a range of strokes effectively. 28% of the children are proficient in all four strokes and 29% of children are able to perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.
